In the first part of this advanced Teacher Training you’ll learn to teach Hatha Yoga, classical Vinyasa Krama & Pranayama.
We teach a breath-based style of classical Hatha Yoga in the lineage of Krishnamacharya and Yin Yoga. This authentic style is known as “Vinyasa Krama” and resembles a slow-flow Vinyasa.
The teachings of our educational program are based on a very broad approach to Yoga. The foundations of this part are:
breath-based Hatha Yoga, classical Vinyasa Krama, genuine Yogic Breathwork, Spiritual Heart Meditation, and the non-dual vision of Advaita Vedanta.
We teach a classical form of Hatha Yoga which revolves around the synchronization of breath & body movement.
This advanced training will also empower you to integrate breath & bandha into a faster modern Vinyasa style.
In addition to breath, this uplifting asana practice incorporates the focus on alignment, chakras & kundalini energy.
Our balanced style combines engaging yang and relaxing yin qualities:
The practice incorporates various dynamic elements, such as a variety of warming exercises, different variations of the sun salutations (including classical, A & B), Ashtanga type warrior sequence, and demanding standing poses. In this special TTC you will also learn how to approach basic & advanced arm balances, including the emblematic handstand.
The contemplative atmosphere of our slow-flow cultivates mindfulness of alignment & breath. We emphasize a refined awareness of the present moment in the style of Eckhart Tolle. The sequence of 36++ asanas includes backward & forward bends, side bends, twists, and inversions.
As the title states, the syllabus of course encompasses plenty of Pranayama practice: powerful exercises to activate, as well as calming techniques to find balance & peace within.
Another focus of this Advanced TTC is practical applied yogic philosophy. We transmit the ancient wisdom in an eye-opening modern perspective. Together we’ll read into genuine source scriptures. Understanding the authentic roots of Pranayama & Bandha helps us to deepen our practice, and amplifies its benefits.
Additionally, the curriculum incorporates various classical practices, such as meditation, heart centering, Bhajan chanting, Bhakti & Karma Yoga, Raja & Jnana Yoga, and so much more.
The authentic content of our teachings, the enthusiasm of the group & facilitators, and your sincere openness to transform and dive deep can turn this course into the experience of a lifetime.
Our thorough educational approach will ground your understanding in authentic Yoga sources, while helping you to develop & refine your own personal practice.
Our advanced courses are a beautiful opportunity for self exploration, a stepping stone for future studies, and a very solid base for aspiring & seasoned Yoga Teachers.
